Full list of the cookies used, with the purpose and duration of each.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user’s device while browsing. They let the site work correctly, remember the user’s preferences and, in some cases, collect statistical or advertising information.
The law (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and EU Regulation 2016/679) distinguishes technical cookies, necessary for the site or a service requested by the user, from profiling cookies, which track the user for advertising purposes. Only the latter require prior consent via a banner.
Cookies used by this site
This site uses only technical cookies: some set by the platform that hosts it and protects it from abuse, one set by the site itself to remember the language you selected. There are no profiling, behavioural advertising or remarketing cookies, and no statistics or analytics tool of any kind.
Below is the list of cookies that may be set while browsing:
__cf_bm — Cloudflare technical cookie used to distinguish human traffic from automated traffic (bot management). It is set by the Cloudflare platform, not by this site’s code; according to the provider it contains no personally identifying information. Indicative duration: 30 minutes.
cf_clearance — Cloudflare technical/security cookie set by the Cloudflare platform when the visitor passes an anti-abuse check (a Managed Challenge), triggered by the firewall rules or by the rate limiting configured for this site, for example after too many requests. It is not set by the anti-bot widget in the contact form. Duration: up to 30 days.
lang — Technical/functional cookie set by this site when the user manually selects a language. It contains only the language code (it, en) and is sent to the site’s server with every request so that pages can be served in the chosen language. Duration: 1 year. Exempt from prior consent as it is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user.
Cloudflare Turnstile in the contact form
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an anti-bot solution designed as a privacy-friendly alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use tracking cookies for advertising and does not monetise the data it collects.
The widget is loaded from Cloudflare’s servers (challenges.cloudflare.com) as soon as the form appears on screen, therefore before anything is filled in or submitted, and may automatically collect some technical information (IP address, user-agent, browser and device signals, interaction timing) solely to distinguish real users from automated software. Details are in the Privacy Policy, in the dedicated section.
Similar technologies (sessionStorage)
The site saves a single key in the browser’s sessionStorage, "theme", which keeps your manual choice of the light/dark theme and is cleared when you close the tab; localStorage is not used. This is not a cookie: the information is never sent to any server, nor used to track the user.
The language preference, by contrast, is not kept in local storage but in the "lang" cookie listed in section 2, which by its nature is sent to the site’s server with every request.
Third-party cookies and resources
This site does not embed cookies set directly by third parties for profiling or advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics with tracking or similar).
The only cookies listed above come from Cloudflare, provider of the web infrastructure’s distribution and protection services, appointed as data processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
The site does not load resources from third-party servers either: web fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are all hosted on this site’s own domain. The only connection to an external server while browsing is the anti-bot widget described in section 3, which is present only on the "Contact" page.
How to manage or disable cookies
The cookies listed above are not essential either to browse the site or to submit the contact form: if you block them, browsing and sending requests keep working. The only effect is that a manually selected language will not be remembered on your next visit, and the platform’s anti-abuse checks may show you a verification more often.
You can still delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Each browser provides specific instructions in its official guides (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).

The controller reserves the right to update or amend this Cookie Policy at any time, reflecting the changes on this page.
If non-technical cookies are introduced in the future (e.g. analytics with tracking or profiling), this Cookie Policy will be updated and users will be shown a banner to manage consent before such cookies are installed.
